For tier-2 suppliers into automotive OEMs

For automotive tier-2.

You supply into a tier-1 that supplies into a car manufacturer. You need silicone or rubber components against a drawing that came down from the OEM, with the paperwork discipline that programme demands. That's the shape of what we take on.

What automotive tier-2 needs

Discipline, on time, with the paperwork.

Automotive sealing parts prepared in organised trays with paperwork hidden
Organised automotive component batches ready for controlled supply

Automotive supply chains run on scheduled deliveries and detailed paperwork. Miss a delivery slot and you disrupt a build sequence upstream; miss a paperwork field and your part gets rejected at incoming even if it's dimensionally perfect.

We won't claim OEM-facing automotive certifications on this page — those belong to tier-1s and the OEMs themselves. What we run is a disciplined moulding operation with material traceability, documented process control, and a paperwork format we agree with you at the start of the programme rather than negotiating batch by batch.

For sealing components, vibration damping, cable protection and general rubber parts feeding into automotive assembly, that discipline is what determines whether a supplier survives the relationship or gets deselected after the first year.

For tier-2s bringing a new part into a programme, we can also help with the drawing-side conversation — flagging features that will add cost at volume, tolerances that don't need to be as tight as the drawing suggests, and material selection that meets the OEM spec without over-specifying.

What automotive tier-2 needs from us

Three predictable disciplines.

On-time, every time

Scheduled deliveries against your build schedule. Any slippage flagged early, not at delivery date.

Paperwork exactly as agreed

Batch record format signed off at programme start. No reformatting; no missing fields at incoming.

Material spec held stable

Grade, colour, cure conditions locked. Any upstream supplier change communicated before it hits a batch.

What we take on for automotive tier-2

Four common engagements.

01

Sealing component supply

Gaskets, sealing lips, weather seals against your OEM-provided drawing. Delivered to your tier-1's schedule.

02

Vibration damping

Isolators, mounts, moulded rubber pads for vibration and NVH control. Compound selected for the loading condition, not for a datasheet default.

03

Cable and harness protection

Grommets, boots, cable exits, moulded strain relief. Delivered with the harness or as separate components for your assembly.

04

Development for new programme entries

You're trying to get onto a new programme. We work up the manufacturable version of the OEM drawing and produce validation samples.

Rough annual volume, target unit price, and any deadlines. That's enough to work out whether compression, LSR injection or something else is the right tool.
