Anti-vibration mounts
Rubber bonded between metal plates or sleeves.
Insert moulding · Metal insert moulding
Anti-vibration mounts, bonded seals, grommets with metal sleeves. Metal insert moulding creates a permanent bond between rubber and metal inside the tool.
The detail
Rubber-to-metal bonding depends on the metal surface: clean, roughened where appropriate, and coated with a bonding agent matched to the rubber. Skip a step and the bond is only as strong as the weakest patch.
We manage surface preparation carefully, record which bonding agent batch was used, and pull-test samples from each batch.
